Earth Day Work Day & Potluck BBQ at Birch State Park

Please join us for our annual Earth Day Work Day & Potluck BBQ.  We will be gathering at the Live Oak Pavillion and then we will be joining the park's Earth Day event which will be beach clean up, environmental education activities for the family, installing plants in the playground, and other activities.  Please bring a salad or side dish, drinks, dessert for the BBQ we will provide the hotdogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers and condiments.  The park asks that we don't bring any single use plastics into the park (i.e. plastic bottles of water) so bring your refillable water bottle and we will have a water cooler to refill them.  Also, do wear work clothes and shoes, a bathing suite and towel, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, and anything you might need for a day at the beach/park.  Feel free to contact us for more information about this event.
